Well rest assured – here is 5 easy steps to help you choose entertainment for your Wedding.
1. GO ONLINE, READ REVIEWS AND RESEARCH.
First of all – google ‘wedding dj melbourne’ then open as many DJ’s pages as you like. Then pick a couple of the pages that catch your eye and close the rest.
From there check if they have reviews and also check the quality and consistency of the reviews. Please be sure to check for more multiple sources of reviews like Facebook, wedding directory (like Easy Weddings). google etc.

2. CONTACT THE WEDDING DJ AND SEE IF THEY ARE THE RIGHT FIT FOR YOU
Send them an email, give them a call – whatever you prefer. Please make sure you take the time to see if they fit with your vision and also if you get along. After all they will be with you at your Wedding so at the very least you want to have some sort of connection.

3. FIND OUT DETAILS ABOUT THE PRODUCT AND SERVICE.
This should be the deciding factor as to if you book with them or not. Once you have a connection and like the sound of what they do. Get them to send you all the details you will need from now and leading up to your big day. This should be very detailed and should cover everything. If you are unsure of how it all works after this point they might not be the best option for you. Transparency is key and we give so much love and attention to our brides and grooms for the entertainment on their wedding day. We want you to be blown away by the level of detail and care we put in, We don’t want to just be the ‘DJ’ We want to create excitement and joy from your first enquiry to the last song on your Wedding day.

4. ORGANISE THE RUN SHEET, TALK MUSIC AND DISCUSS VIBE
This is a key part of what we do and what makes us so successful – this is where your wedding comes to life and we make sure its tailored to you and your guests.
Before the Wedding you want to know what is actually going to happen on the day with the music and entertainment, it’s too late to be at the wedding and trying to tell the DJ what you want at that point. We like to meet with you about 4 weeks before your Wedding to organise a run sheet, talk music, listen to music, discuss ideas and flow for the night and last but not least meet with you and your partner so we can be friends and get to know each other before the Wedding. By the time the Wedding roles around we want to be high-fiving and having a laugh!
5. THE PRICE
This usually will be one of the main deciding factors as to whether you book with a certain DJ or not. The price of a DJ can range anywhere from $500 – $1500. This seems like a lot but from experience, the quality and service can also be very different. I would think for the sake of a couple of hundred dollars you will go for the DJ you really want rather then the one that was ‘a bit cheaper’ DJs charge what they charge because that usually reflects the amount of effort and quality of service they are willing to put in.
